Who We Are:

Executive Director Jamie Sickles has built her life around compassion for animals and advocacy for their welfare and humane treatment.

She founded K9 Global to be an instrument in that work. She completed her formal education, earning a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Biomedical Science.

She served as an officer on a USA National Non-profit board and earned a certificate as a trauma informed care responder. 

Jamie Sickles serves as Goodwill Ambassador for an NGO in Tanzania Africa that promotes animal welfare and provides education to local communities. She brings her experience as a corporate officer to assist her work in animal welfare and other philanthropic causes.

Why We Are Here

K9 Global serves the animals that live with and around us in three ways: 

(1) Advocating for their welfare and humane treatment

(2) Promoting enlightened views of animal welfare among fellow citizens

(3) Taking active steps by ourselves and with others to solve problems they face.
